Away trips for Lions and OLs, with home friendly for Saints

After two league wins, Rugby Lions turn their attentions to cup rugby this Saturday and travel to Atherstone to play in the Junior Vase (ko 3pm).

Two wins out of three so far marks a satisfactory start for Old Laurentians to life in Midlands One; but this Saturday brings the long journey to Whitchurch for what will certainly prove to be a tougher test, the unbeaten home club currently sitting two places above OLs in fourth place in the table. A coach for players and supporters will leave Fenley Field at 11.45am.

After a great start to the season Rugby St Andrews take a break from league action and entertain Claverdon at Ashlawn Road.

Also after two wins Newbold have a break from the league this weekend and return to competitive action on October 5 against Oadby Wyggestonians.

Rugby Welsh also have a break from the league this weekend and then host Trinity Guild on October 5.
