Sunday, July 17
Runners are invited to sign up early for the 2016 Rugby Half Marathon, which will be on Sunday, July 17.
Event planner and Always Aim High Events director, Tim Lloyd, is looking forward to their second race: “This event really took off in 2015 with over a thousand runners signing up,” he said.
“We’ve been bombarded with enquiries asking when entries will open for the 2016 event, and we are pleased to tell them that it’s now!
“Given the interest shown we fully expect this event to attract well over 1,500 runners this time.”
The 13.1 mile course record was set at 68-57 and takes runners through the town as well as the surrounding countryside before returning to Rugby and the event village with spectators, music and entertainment.
