Seven juniors from the Rugby Youth Badminton Squad came home with medals from a doubles tournament in Coventry.
The tournament is run each year by the County badminton association and attended by juniors from across Warwickshire, but excluding those in county squads.
The players competed in a round robin tournament for their age group.
In the Under-15 group, Woody Woodbridge & Kishan Mistry won gold medals, winning all their games. The final game was a close fought battle between the first and second placed pairs in the group, a game that Woody & Kishan won 22-20.
In the same group Jacob Pollard and Matthew Gunton-Jones won the bronze medals. A fine achievement in their first doubles tournament.
James Fletcher and his partner, James Scott, won gold medals in the Under-13 group, also winning all their games.
In the Under-11 group, Anna Woodbridge and Anna Farren also won gold medals. They too were entering a tournament for the first time.
