After six Saturdays of competition it reached the ‘nitty gritty’ last weekend on Finals Day where the qualifiers in each category competed.
In the U16 age group Liam Victoros came out on top although he was taken to five ends by both Anshul Satsangi, the runner up, and Solomon Hayes of Lillington Club. Aaron Riley from Coventry’s Potters Green Club finished third.
At under thirteen level Lee Dorning of Lillington Club was a clear winner beating all three of the other players in his group. Richard Massie of Rugby TTC won silver medal by virtue of having a better ends for and against ratio which left Joe Hunt and Sam Weaving, both of Free Church, equal in third place with identical ends differences!
In the U13 Novices section, Jay Virdi, Alex Raisbeck and Akshay Patel, all members of Rugby Table Tennis Club, finished first, second and third respectively.
