Rugby triathlete and member of Team Jewson MI Racing Samantha Anderson, swapped her bike for a pair of running shoes over the weekend, to take part in the 8.5 mile Wyre Forest Cross Country race, in Worcestershire.
There were 250 starters and Samantha finished a brilliant third lady, her first competitive event of 2012.
What is remarkable is that Samantha has recovered from illness last month, but clearly is back with some good fitness. Her first big test will be the European Triathlon Championships in Israel, for which she has already qualified as a Great Britain representative.
Samantha is part of a powerful Team Jewson ladies’ cycling team, headed by National Time Trial series winner for the past four seasons, Michelle King. She is also a member of the Rugby Triathlon Club.
