To help make plans for 2012 and beyond, Rugby Tri Club has launched a survey aimed at the general public to try to gauge why people do or do not take part in sport and what barriers could be removed to help encourage more participants.
It is hoped that the five-minute survey will highlight what motivates locals to take part in sport (not just triathlons!), what benefits they see arising from exercise and what barriers need to be overcome. The club already runs seminars, training sessions and advice forums and the additional information gathered will assist the club in determining the focus of its projects in this coming Olympic year.
So if anyone is interested in setting themselves goals or News Year’s resolutions for 2012, this survey could help focus their thinking.
It can be found at http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/G8CPDBW
If you are interested in taking part in triathlon more information concerning the club’s adult and junior sections can be found at www.rugbytriathlon.org.uk.
