It’s another good weekend for rugby fans, not only with the Six Nations but plenty of Midlands league action on our doorstep.

In Midlands 1 East Old Laurentians have high hopes of some points at home at Fenley Field to Newark, who are just one place above them at the bottom of the table.

Third placed Newbold travel to Northampton Old Scouts, who are cuurrently tenth.

After their postponement against Old Coventrians last weekend, Rugby Lions are back at Webb Ellis Road hosting eighth-placed Woodrush in Midlands 3 West (South). Lions are third, just one point behind the leaders.

Rugby St Andrews welcome St Neots to John Tomalin Way. Saints are fifth in Midlands 3 East (South) and their visitors ninth.

And in Midlands 5 West (South) third-place Welsh face second-place Keresley in the league at Alwyn Road.
