Roger Hunt will be taking on the best pool players in Europe for the fifth time.
Selected for the England team for the European Championships in Blackpool next week, he will be hoping to add to his previous successes.
He has twice won the team title with England and in Dundalk four years ago he won the over 50s singles and was player of the tournament.
Roger, 55, who plays for Warwickshire, as well as Rileys Lions in the Rugby & District Pool League is looking forward to the event, being held at the Imperial Hotel and practising hard.
On the UK Senior Tour Roger is currently ranked seventh with the next round in Nottingham in March.
He’s been playing pool since 1977 and started snooker before that, which he finds is a good way to help sharpen up his skills on the bigger table.
He also has an important snooker tournament coming up.
Roger is grateful to his sponsors for their support, including Quigleys Irish Bar, Masala Lounge, Heaphy’s clothing, Merchants Inn, Martin Rooney, Ryan Ashley of the Seven Stars, Paul Randall of Stonewall Security and Nick Pugh of the Alexandra Arms and Queen Victoria.
