Rugby St Andrews
Rugby St Andrews Ladies extended their gratitude to sponsor, Philippa Morgan, of Horts Estate Agents, for her on-going support, enthusiasm and generosity. The team presented her with a framed replica match shirt, which is now proudly on display in the Regent Street office.
The ladies’ touch rugby team also thanked Tom Kittendorf, Sports Development Officer at Rugby Borough Council, and the RFU’s Community Coach, Dan Oselton, for their continuing involvement and encouragement in the development of the group.
In little over 12 months the ladies’ team has gone from strength to strength, with numbers increasing and the team is now ready to play their first competitive league match next month.
Touch Rugby is an easy to learn, non-contact game promoting fitness. The team train on Friday evenings from 6.30pm at the Hillmorton Grounds, on Ashlawn Road and any females aged 13 upwards, who are interested in having a go, are invited to come along.
All abilities are welcome and no previous experience is necessary.
The team would also like to hear from anyone interested in coaching them or training as a Touch Rugby referee. Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
