A party of 40 representing the Home of the Game will be travelling to Rovigo and Rome for the weekend’s games.
They will be teaming up with supporters from Rovigo to show the true spirit of rugby to the people of Italy.
And it’s handy having a fluent Italian speaker in the form of captain to Andy Vilk (pictured) to help organise things. He spent three years with Benetton Treviso before joining Webb Ellis Road in the summer.
Lions are very excited about the trip and may even take part in a presentation on the pitch in Rome’s Olympic stadium before the England v Italy Six Nations game on Saturday afternoon.
