Rugby enthusiasts are invited to go and support England as they kick off the 2015 Rugby World Cup and watch the match on their brand new big screen.

On Saturday it’s St Andrews’ Takeover Day at the Rugby Fanzone (in the town centre, off Castle Street) from 12pm – 6pm. It promises to be a fun-filled day of rugby activities hosted by Saints’ Minis & Juniors.

Try touch and tag rugby, have a go at the lineout and kicking challenges, the speed test and lots more. There are also three World Cup matches being shown live in the Fanzone.

Sunday sees Saints’ Mini’s & Juniors training sessions and open day at Ashlawn Road. Children between the ages of 5-8 are invited to join in from 10am-12noon. New players are very welcome to come down and try playing rugby!
