RUGBY: St Andrews open for world cup breakfast

Saturday sees England start its campaign to win the 2011 world Cup and in the clubhouse on Ashlawn Road members and guests alike can enjoy the spectacle on two screens whilst enjoying a hearty full English breakfat with complimentary tea and coffee.

The club would like to welcome guests to this and all events in a bid to increase membership of playing and social members and look for volunteers to help with the future development of the club.

In the coming weeks they will be announcing details of improvements we will be making both inside and outside the clubhouse in order to increase the appeal of the club and encourage the local community to participate. After the rigours of the England game in the morning they invite everyone to come to Ashlawn Road and watch either the 3rd XV versus Dunlop or the new Colts team against Southam. Refreshments will be available together with a warm St.Andrews welcome.

For all those who remember John Tomalin who died last year after dedicating much of his life to local sports make a note in your diary that on September 17 the VPs day will be in memory of John and a buffet will be available for his friends and colleagues.
