Rugby St Andrews win from 21-8 down with five minutes to go!
Midlands 5 West (South) leaders Rugby Lions extended their lead with a 38-7 victory away at Copsewood.
Lions are away to Warley in the Junior Vase this Saturday, kick off 2.15pm.
At the other end of the table, Rugby Welsh didn’t have the same success, going down a valiant 32-7 against fourth-placed Birmingham Exiles.
Welsh travel to Daventry 2nds in the Clonmell Cup this Saturday, kick off 2.15pm.
Rugby St Andrews pulled off an amazing fightback against league leaders Stockwood Park in Midlands 3 East (South). With just five minutes and injury time to go, they were 21-8 down, but scored two tries to win by a point.
On Saturday Saints have a third round Senior Vase match at Burntwood.
In Midlands 2 East (South) Newbold made it seven wins out of seven, beating Leicester Forest 41-25 at Parkfield Road. Newbold are second in the table, but level on 34 points with leaders Leighton Buzzard who have a better points difference.
On a muddy pitch at bottom club Berkswell & Ballsall, a much-changed and depleted Old Laurentians went down 12-5 in Midlands 1 West.
This Saturday they have a Warwickshire Cup tie at Fenley Field against a Broadstreet team currently flying high in National 3 Midlands, one of the favourites to lift the trophy.
