Vocal ensemble Quarto give a concert at St Andrew’s church, Rugby on Friday May 20 at 7.30 pm as part of the church’s Open Door series. The programme will include works by Schubert, Schumann and Mendelssohn. The four-part group perform regularly in the Midlands. Admission costs £5 at the door. Refreshments are available at the interval

Local motorbike groups Rugby RAG and Rugby Free Riders will join resources to host Rugby Bikefest’s launch party at the St Thomas Cross, Newton on Saturday May 21 at 6pm, with live bands, rock disco and overnight camping. Tickets £5 on the gate. All proceeds will be donated to Warwickshire & Solihull Blood Bikers.

Bilton Silver Band play at St Margaret’s Church, Crick, NN6 7TP, on Saturday May 21 starting at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £8 or £5 for school students and are available from Crick Post Office or on the door. Glass of wine or soft drink included. Raffle available. The church is accessible to wheelchairs. All proceeds to the Friends of St Margaret’s for church restoration.

Warwickshire Exhibition Centre on Fosse Way hosts 50,000 spiders, scorpions and other insects at the The British Tarantula Society’s annual exhibition, which will attract visitors from as far away as America, Asia and Europe, from 11am until 4pm on Sunday May 22. Academics will be on hand to answer questions, and there will be competitions and a chance to meet some of the leading experts in the field.
