A lunar fest in the Midlands

FAMILIES can head to a new Midlands festival for a weekend of intimate acoustic music, films, dancing, camping and food.

The Lunar Festival at the Umberslade Estate in Tanworth In Arden started yesterday (Friday), with an evening of music curated by Birmingham-based label Static Caravan, which is now releasing the work of Hannah Peel, Laura J Martin, Goodnight Lenin and Dan Haywood - all of whom will showcase their talents during the course of the weekend.

They along with scores of other musicians will perform on two stages during the four-day event and, once the music has ended, revellers can party no into the small hours at an on-site mini rave or gather around a fire pit.
