Art in the street in the heart of Leamington

ARTISTS from Leamington and surrounding areas are showcasing their works in a street arts fair at the heart of the town.

The Leamington Contemporary Arts Fair is returning to Livery Street, beside the town hall, next Saturday at the start of its spring season.

Paintings, photography, sculpture and prints will fill the street and will be for sale at affordable prices.

Arts Trail organises the event, which attracts up to 13,000 visitors at each fair, which takes place on the fourth Saturday of the month.

In May, the fair will be part of the Leamington Looks Back history festival, featuring watercolours and photographs by David Lewis and James Callaghan, whose works are inspired by the town’s architecture.

Stalls can be booked by individual artists, art groups and those who would like to promote their art related activities or courses.

Prices vary and start from £25 per stall. To find out more or attend a ‘How to make your art stall work for you’ workshop, drop into Gallery 150 in Livery Street, Leamington, email [email protected] or call 07768 617081.
