Cabaret show fundraises for Leamington mayor’s causes

UP and coming artistic performers from the Leamington area are staging a cabaret evening on Sunday to help the mayor raise funds for charity.

Professional arts organisation Heartbreak Productions have put together the Love and Laughter line-up, which will include music, comedy and variety acts, who are all donating their time and efforts in aid of Epilepsy Research UK, BasicNeeds and Refuge.

Maddy Kerr, Heartbreak’s executive director, said: “We are in the extremely fortunate position of knowing a vast number of professional actors and performers from the local area – and what better way to showcase their talents than teaming them with such worthy causes as Cllr Alan Wilkinson’s chosen charities to produce a fabulous evening of cabaret entertainment. We’re really looking forward to it.”

Love and Laughter is on at St Patrick’s Irish Club in Adelaide Road at 8pm. Tickets cost £12 and must be bought in advance from Leamington town hall or by calling 450906, 430307 or emailing [email protected]

All proceeds will go to the mayor’s charities.
