Hide AdTickets For Troops was set up in 2009 to provide members of the Armed Forces with free tickets for major sporting events, theatre performances, music concerts and cultural attractions.
Since launching it has been donated over 260,000 tickets and almost 100,000 troops have registered on the website www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk.
Tickets For Troops has been supported by a wide range of organisations and has been able to offer free tickets to a huge number of high profile events; recently these have included tickets for Iron Maiden concerts, Premier League football matches, and the London Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Patron Joanna Lumley said: “This is a win-win arrangement: brave and deserving troops get to see shows, concerts, fights and games virtually free: and we in the world of entertainment and sport get a chance to show them that we think they are the best of the best, and support them with all our hearts. Fabulous!!”
Troops are encouraged to go online and register at www.ticketsfortroops.org.uk to take advantage of the fantastic tickets available.
