Christmas comedy takes to the stage at Barford

FESTIVE fun will be had by all those people who visit A Christmas Comedy Special at The Granville @ Barford on Sunday.

Ryan Gough as compere will be joined by Greg Cook, who is known for talking about religion, politics, sport, terrorism, poetry, the police, philosophy, royalty — and also for his banter about his long-suffering mum.

Lou Chawner, winner of the Jongleurs Comedy Callback Competition in 2009, will also weave stories packed with jokes on the night.

Also joining the entertaining crowd will be Ruth Cockburn.

Her comedy plays have been performed in numerous festivals all over the country,including Sydney’s ‘Short & Sweet’ Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, and 21-year-old Wolverhampton lad, Luke Regan.

Val Kersey, owner of The Granville @ Barford, said: “We’re delighted to welcome so many fantastic and gifted top circuit headliners.”

Tickets cost £10 or £15 with supper, which will be available from 6pm to 8pm.

The show is scheduled to start at 8pm.
