Entrants for Sandford Awards are assessed by a panel of independent judges drawn from professional educationalists including OFSTED inspectors, former head teachers, education consultants and heritage property based education officers.

Alison Taylor, senior learning and inclusion officer, said “We are extremely proud to win this award. It is a tough quality mark to achieve and is only held by about 200 heritage venues across the country.”
