Coventry gallery hosts landscapes and cityscapes activities

HALF-TERM activities focused on Landscapes and Cityscapes, inspired by the George Shaw: I woz ere exhibition, will take place at the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum in Coventry this week.

From Monday to Friday, at 10.30am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 3.30pm, there will be family activities on offer.

On Monday, artist Jim Morris will be working with children to create a large scale Cylinder City and on Wednesday Lowry’s Ebbw Vale will be the source of inspiration.

On Tuesday to Thursday, from 11am to midday, the Herbert will also welcome an expert from Coombe Abbey Country Park to talk about Wildlife in the City.

Children aged two to four can also enjoy an Early Years Creative Movement Class throughout the week.
