Dance away the nights at brand new Leamington group

Circle Dances have been going for thousands of years but this is the first class in the town offering something for everyone from lively upbeat to meditative moves.

And new group leader, Bruce Knight who has been dancing for over a decade, said they dance to traditional tunes, including many from Macedonia, Greece, Albania and Bulgaria, and learn simple steps.

“If you know your right from your left, you’ll be able to join in,” he said. “The tunes are fantastically catchy, and the dances are wonderfully uplifting.”

The next nine-week term starts on April 18 with classes between 1.30pm and 3pm at the Salvation Army Hall, Chapel Street.
