Essence of Ireland is back in Leamington

Following successful tours during the past two years, the show is back at Spa Centre on April 28.

Audiences can follow the heart-warming tale of Sean Dempsey and Coro McGowen, who meet in Ireland in the 1940s, but are forced to separate when Sean must travel to New York in search of work.

Through a dazzling combination of talented dance and Irish music, Essence of Ireland depicts the letters the two send each other while they’re apart.

A cast of Ireland’s finest dancers, singers and musicians bring to life old favourites such as Galway Girl, Carrickfergus, You Raise Me Up and Song for Ireland. Traditional Irish dance is interwoven with country and salsa aspects, creating a memorable show.

Nominated for the International Show of the Year Award at this year’s Pride of Eireann Awards, the live band, array of dancers and show-stopping costumes capture the true spirit of the Emerald Isle.
