Get creative and enter this year’s Christmas card design competition

BUDDING artists are being called to get creative and win the chance to see their design sent out to hundreds of homes on the MP’s festive cards.

Jeremy Wright is inviting all budding artists across his Kenilworth and Southam constituency to enter the design competition in hope of encouraging talent across the towns.

The image can be of any design along the Christmas theme and entry is open to all ages and abilities. Entrants should submit their paintings, drawings, photographs or doodles on a piece of A4 paper by midday on Friday November 30 to the MP’s Kenilworth Office, in Jubilee House, Smalley Place, Kenilworth.

Entries will be judged by Jeremy and Kenilworth Weekly News editor, Chris Lillington at the end of November.

The winner will have their design printed on Jeremy’s cards and be invited for a tour of the Houses of Parliament in the New Year. The two runners up will have their designs printed on the back of the cards.

Jeremy said: “I am breaking with convention this year and have decided that I want to showcase some of our local talent.

“I have met several talented artists and creative individuals over the past year across the constituency and I very much hope that they will consider submitting a design.”
