The show, revived in 2007 by Francis Evans, tells the story of architect Bernard - who has three fiancees, none of whom knows about the others.

All of them are air stewardesses flying different routes for different airlines on different schedules. His philosophy is very simple – ‘Fiancées give you all the advantages of married life with none of the drawbacks. They are much more friendly than wives. And you don’t need all that many. I do very well with three’.

But when schedules change, Bernard’s life becomes increasingly more hectic.

Director David Hankins said: “Boeing, Boeing is a show full of warmth and uncomplicated laughter. The perfect entertainment for a balmy summer’s evening.”

The play runs from Wednesday until Saturday July 20 at 7.30pm each evening (except Sunday). The July 17 performance has been pre-sold to charity so no tickets for general sale are available for that night.

For tickets, call 0844 493 4938, Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, buy them in person at theatre box office on evenings or go online. www.loft-theatre.co.uk
