Jarvis Cocker joins Warwick Arts Centre show to celebrate Bright Phoebus
Bright Phoebus Revisited commemorates the only joint album, first released in 1972, by Lal and Mike of the infamous Waterson family.
Even though it was out of production some some years, the album Bright Phoebus has been hailed as one of the finest achievements of the British folk revival.

Hide AdDirected by Kate St John, a composer, arranger and multi-instrumentalist, the show draws together the remaining members of the Waterson family - including original band mates Norma Waterson and Martin Carthy - and also features previously unheard and unreleased songs by Lal and Mike.
The band, who shot to fame in the mid-1960s as the folk alternative to the Beatles, were once one of England’s premier singing families before parting ways to pursue solo careers.
Joining the family to celebrate are special guests Jarvis Cocker and Richard Hawley, as well as some up-and-coming folk artists.
The show is on at the centre on Saturday (October 12). Call 024 7652 4524 or visit www.warwickartscentre.co.uk
