Leamington’s professional theatre company Heartbreak Productions are back to bring open air drama to south Warwickshire from early June.

The company will take audiences on a what they describe as a journey of thrills, masks, dance, blades, potions and poetry as they perform their own modern take on Shakespeare’s much-loved masterpiece Romeo and Juliet in Jephson Gardens, Leamington, on Wednesday June 5 and Thursday June 6 at 7.15pm.

Then theatre-goers can take part in a very special tea party and enter the chaotic underground world of Alice in Wonderland as the crew perform Alice - An Extraordinary Adventure, an energetic adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s tale, in Jephson Gardens on Wednesday June 12 and Thursday June 13 at 6.15pm. The White Rabbit, Mad Hatter, Tweedledum and others will also be enchanting audiences at Hill Close Gardens in Warwick on Wednesday July 10 at 6.30pm and at Charlecote Park near Wellesbourne on Saturday July 13 at 6pm.

The company’s third offering for the summer will be what they are describing as their “potent and passion-filled” new adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula - with erotic chills and scares a-plenty.
