Powerful band make a return to Leamington

Voodoo Vegas, Heathcote Inn, Whitnash, to play March 19.

HAVING supported the UK Guns ‘N’ Roses twice last year at the Leamington Assembly, rock band Voodoo Vegas return to the town on Saturday March 19 to play a head line set at the Heathcote Inn.

The band hail from Bournemouth and are hoping to release their debut album later this year. They are a powerful five-rock piece band consisting of the charismatic Lawrence on lead vocals, the twin guitar attack of Merylina and Nick, Ash on bass and Chris on the drums.

They play original rock numbers with touches of amongst others Aerosmith, Guns ‘N’ Roses and The Quireboys to their sound and stage favourites include the full-on rock of Mary Jane and the full-of-groove So Unkind, added to their strong material the band also have a fantastic stage presence and they are one of my tips for 2011.

The Heathcote Inn gig has a 9pm start and entry is free.
