Snow White is Leamington tonight

THE magic and wonder of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs has is arriving at Leamington’s Spa Centre tonight (Friday).

Running until new year’s eve, this year’s pantomime - brought to the stage by the Coventry-based Imagine Theatre Productions - is expecting to draw in crowds from around the Midlands.

The show stars real life Coventry couple Hannah Farquharson and Callum Roberts as Snow White and Prince Michael. The pair are delighted to be performing so close to home.

Hannah said: “I often come to see shows at the Spa Centre as I live quite close by, so it is really exciting for me to be up on the stage this year.

“I have been touring in another children’s show, How Lion Became King of Tinga Tinga Land, recently so I am very happy to be at home for Christmas and appearing in such a great panto.”

Starring alongside Hannah and Callum are Robert Rawles as Dame Bree Brightshine, JP McCue as the comical Will the Jester, Rachael Barrington as Queen Evilyn, who wants to be the ‘fairest of them all’ but needs to get rid of Snow White first, and Mike Royce as Sir Richard Darling.

Director Mark Thorburn said: “What I love about the Spa Centre pantomime is the high production values. The show has a great cast, a hilarious script and absolutely marvellous set and costumes.
