A fascination with the views captured from bridges around the world is encapsulated in the ongoing exhibition at Gallery 150 in Leamington.

Artist and former art teacher and lecturer Richard Yeomans’ View From A Bridge is a series of paintings which began when he created a small triptych of views from the Tyne Bridge in Newcastle using photographs taken in the 1960s.

The photographs were developed from the first colour film Richard had ever used. Over the last 40 years, he has developed a style whereby he documents architectural scenes with photographs and finds intriguing moments to replicate, objectively, in paint.

The exhibition runs at the gallery in Regent Court until Sunday November 10. Entry is free.
