Real buzz for Mikron’s play at Leamington allotments site
The Yorkshire-based Mikron Theatre Company spend their summer touring England’s canals and waterways stopping at village halls, pubs, allotments and other venues to out on their productions along the way.
This year’s work, Beyond the Veil, tells the tale of a murder on the allotment in the sleepy Thistledale and the police investigation which uncovers a link between the crime and beekeeping in the village.

“Four incredibly professional actors arrived by barge and they were very talented.
“They combined comedy, music and gardening-related themes and the show was called Losing the Plot which was about allotments being taken away by a local authority.
“The show is free but donations are welcomed after the performance.”
