Well, there seems to be no end to the extraordinarily vibrant, energetic and committed productions put on at a the Talisman.

Here we have a show bursting with characters who never faltered for a moment. Everyone was focused, supportive and generous in what they gave each other and the audience.

A large cast - each deserving a mention if only space would allow.

The high maintainable Mal, played superbly by Rod Wilkinson; Amanda Dodd totally immersed in playing the steamy Morticia; and the youngest member of the cast, Harry Bowser playing Pugsy, was confident and assured.

Difficult songs were tackled with ease by Charlotte McClay, who relished playing the sparky Wednesday. Everyone in the Addams household carried their character with aplomb.

Spot on were the ‘normal’ family too, with a mention going to Julie Ann Randell as Alice, who never fails to impress with her acting skill. Her husband Mal was subtle and contrasted well to the rest of the cast. A fine performance from their ‘son’ Lucas played by Pheonix Di Sebastiani.

A gang of ancestors truly were the icing on the cake.

A fabulous set by Ian Roberts and Wendy Morris was enhanced by clever and dynamic lighting cues designed by Ian Roberts.

A hard piece to direct - but looking effortless when in the capable hands of Stephen Duckham and Wendy McClay.

A production well worth seeing. The Talisman gave us a ‘full disclosure’ on what they do so well - entertain a highly appreciative audience.
