Two hundred years of Warwickshire and Coventry life

WONDERFUL Watercolours is the name of the Herbert Art Gallery and Museum’s latest free exhibition in Coventry.

And all the pictures, which can be seen from February 25 to July 22, feature views of Coventry and Warwickshire.

Alongside familiar scenes like Kenilworth and Warwick Castles, there are scenes of village life and a reminder of the glories of old Coventry in views of the city’s medieval gates, buildings and streets.

Also on show will be a recently acquired album of pictures by William Brooke bought after a successful campaign to raise £12,000.
