Danny Howard from BBC Radio 1 will be providing the post-match entertainment in the Jaguar Hall of the Ricoh Arena, Coventry. His dance tracks will follow the rugby sevens matches taking place in the stadium bowl between Wasps, Harlequins, Northampton Saints and Saracens. Southam Sports & Social Club: Skittles night.

The Blues at Broom Hill Festival is set to delight a crowd of music lovers this month when it returns to rolling countryside on the Warwickshire/Oxfordshire border for a third consecutive year. The festival has an American theme for 2015, and features a varied line-up of music artists who reflect the influence American music has around the world.

The past, present and future of the WI is explored in a witty and fast-paced production coming to tting of Foundry Wood in Leamington. Raising Agents is set around Bunnington WI, a branch that is a bit down-at-heel. Dwindling membership means they can barely afford the hall, let alone a decent speaker. So when a PR guru becomes a member, the women are glad of new blood – initially.

The show has a strong musical element, and the original music has been composed by female duo O’Hooley and Tidow, who are award winning musicians and song-writers, recently nominated as ‘best duo’ for BBC Radio 2 Folk Awards.

The show is presented by theatre company Mikron and will be held from 3pm. There is no need to buy a ticket as a collection will be taken by the company after the performance. Foundry Wood can be found off Princes Drive. Bring your own chairs, blankets and picnics.

The nostalgic Buses Festival is to return to the Heritage Motor Centre in Gaydon for the enjoyment of bus and coach enthusiasts. Organised by Key Publishing, publisher of Buses Magazine and sponsored by TTC Diecast, the festival will feature a display of over 100 classic and modern buses and coaches.

Kenilworth Castle, 11am to 5pm: Over the weekend Kenilworth will be transported back in time to 1173 as widespread rebellion threatens the monarchy. Three re-enactment groups – Historia Normannis, The Household, and Conroi - will come together to bring a siege to life from both sides of the ramparts. Expect full on action in a series of assaults on the castle – with trebuchets, archery, and massed ranks of rebelling troupes.
