Jonathan Lee launches specialist digital design office

Engineering and manufacturing recruitment specialist Jonathan Lee Recruitment has launched its own bespoke digital design office specialising in the automotive sector.

Located in Hatton Technology Park, Jonathan Lee Design Services is home to 24 designers and digital modellers. It is thought to be the first initiative of its kind in the design recruitment sector.

Assciate director Nick Jones said: “I have been recruiting digital designers for 13 years now and the need for a specialist service that can deliver high level digital models as well as low volume prototypes, especially in the automotive sector, has emerged.

“We have already been involved in providing bespoke parts such as headlights and mirrors for concept cars launched at the major motor shows and it has grown from there. Demand has increased to the point where we realised there was a long-term requirement for these kinds of services and the office was born.

“We have invested heavily in the new site and recruited talent from an international pool of specialist digital designers.”
