Kingsway's Post Office counter will be temporarily closed for around three weeks to make way for a refurbishment - but the Premier store will remain open.

The branch will close on Wednesday November 4 at 5.30pm and it is expected that the work will take around three weeks to complete - with the counter is due to re-open on Friday November 20 at 9am.

During this temporary closure customers can access Post Office services from any convenient branch including:

- Bridge Street Post Office, 103 Bridge Street, New Bilton, Rugby, CV21 2BU

- Rugby Post Office, 20 Albert Street, Rugby, CV21 2AA

Mat Wilkes, Post Office Change Manager, said: “We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our customers during the work.

"The safety of our customers is of paramount, therefore, to allow for the building work to take place, it will be necessary for the service to close temporarily.”

Correction: A spokesperson for the Post Office told the Advertiser the Premier store would also be closing during the refurbishment - we have since confirmed with the shop that this is not the case.
