Rugby College students achieve stellar A-Level results despite Covid-19 disruption

Students at Rugby College have achieved a stellar set of A-Level results in the face of Covid-19 disruption

A-Level students at the college, which is part of WCG (formerly Warwickshire College Group), achieved an overall pass rate of 100 per cent, reflecting a rise of five per cent from

last year’s results.

The perfect pass rate was achieved across three courses, including English language and literature, sociology and psychology, which are studied alongside Level 3 diplomas in

criminology and applied law.

Results were strong across the college group for A-Levels with results also matching the 100 per cent overall pass rate.

James Stace, Head of A-Levels at WCG, said: “It has been a difficult year for our students as a result of Covid-19 and the impact had on exams and assessments.

“We are sure there will be some relief amongst students now that their results are now out and we’re incredibly proud of their efforts to achieve what they have this academic year.

“These results certainly represent the dedication and hard work put in by students and tutors, because even during lockdown classes continued right up to, and beyond, the end of

term.
