Air pollution has fallen across Leamington since people's movements started being restricted because of Covid-19.

The average daily nitrogen dioxide emissions have fallen compared with the same eight-day period last year, analysis of data shows.

Nitrogen dioxide, released from car exhausts, is a serious air pollutant and also indirectly contributes to the warming of the planet.

These figures have been mirrored across the country, with lots of towns and cities recording a drop in air pollution due to the lack of cars on our roads.
