Police have issued tickets to a couple who were found in their car watching 'The Only Way is Essex' on a phone at Burton Dassett Hills Country Park.

Warwickshire Police officers with the Wellesbourne Safer Neighbourhood Team (SNT) issued the tickets while on patrol at the park and working to enforce Covid legislation.

Among those tickets were the couple from Southam found watching 'The Only Way Is Essex' on a phone in their car at the country park.

Wellesbourne Police took to social media share information about the Covid enforcement, which included the following message: "We’ve all got a part to play in slowing the spread of the virus. #StayHome"
