Ten people have been fined for breaching Covid rules after they went to a party in Leamington.

Warwickshire Police has not released any more information about the incident, other than to say that the party took place in Clarendon Street.

But they did say that a further 14 people were also fined after attending a house party in Whitley Hill, Henley-in-Arden.

In total, 53 people across the county were fined for Covid breaches this weekend.

Officers described the weekend as 'extremely busy', with 46 people in custody

These included:

• Three on suspicion of attempted murder

• Two on suspicion of assaulting emergency workers

• Five on suspicion of burglary

• 21 on suspicion of domestic offences

• Three on suspicion of drink drive offences

• Two on suspicion of drug offences

• One on suspicion of a possession of an offensive weapon

• Two on suspicion of robbery

• One on suspicion of shoplifting

On top of these police responded to:

• 20 reports of antisocial behaviour

• 10 reports burglary

• 71 cause for concern calls

• 44 reports of domestic incidents

• One call to support colleagues in the fire service

• Three frauds

• Two hate incidents

• Four mental health incidents

• Eight missing people reports

• 13 road traffic collisions
