Rugbeians aged 40 and over are being invited to book their first coronavirus vaccination at Benn Hall this weekend - beginning on May 1.

To book, residents are asked to call 0300 303 1919 from Monday to Friday between 9am and 6pm.

The clinics are being run by Coventry and Warwickshire Partnership NHS Trust and are part of the second phase of the national vaccination programme which will eventually see all residents over the age of 18 being offered a vaccine.

Rugby residents have a choice on whether to get their vaccine in the town or to travel to a large vaccination site.

The options will include more pop up clinics and a number of pharmacies based in Rugby.

People can also book through the National Booking System by calling 119 for a vaccination at Stoneleigh or Fosse Park.
