LOOKING BACK - December 19, 2019 edition

Hide AdMark says: “The book is a history of Rugby Town with montage images supporting the text. The idea was to show the differences in places, lifestyles and fashions, over a period of time in places that are familiar.
“The reader can see Elizabethan thatched cottages in situ with the BikeFest parade, a World War One soldier on leave walking along Rugby’s modern-day railway platforms, King George about to open the Temple Speech rooms and many more of the town’s historic events.
It can be bought from: The Nest, Hunts bookshop,The Rugby library museum gift shop, Maddens on Hillmorton Road. It can also be bought direct from the website www.Rugbynowandthen.com.
