Boothroyds still the best in town

The latest independent audit has shown Boothroyd & Co has not only maintained its position as Kenilworth’s top selling estate agency, but also sold more then seven per cent more properties than its nearest rival.

Almost a third (29.4 per cent) of the sold signs in Kenilworth over the quarter to May 6 belonged to family firm Boothroyds, with the second and third places showing just 22.1 per cent and fourth place 13.2 per cent.

“There is no doubt the market has been slow for a long time but there are buyers out there and our skill is valuing properties accurately, marketing to the widest possible audience, weeding out time wasters and providing superior, friendly service,” said director John Boothroyd, FRICS.

“A slow market means we have to work exceptionally hard and our staff have risen to the challenge, maintaining our reputation for getting results by following every lead and doggedly pursuing transactions to ensure they reach a satisfactory conclusion.

“In addition to going the extra mile for our clients we also have an edge with our new app, making properties for sale and to let available to people with a smart phone who don’t necessarily have access to a computer when they’re looking for a new home.

“We were delighted when we were top last quarter, despite working from the back of our offices during extensive refurbishment.

“We’re even more thrilled that, despite declining sales in the property market as a whole, we have the lion’s share of success in Kenilworth and have increased our lead over competitors this quarter.”
