Not one heckler for Irish funnyman
Warwick Arts Centre, March 4.
I TRAVELLED to this show with slight trepidation, after all I can’t claim to be Ed Byrnes biggest fan.
I’ve never been overly impressed with the Mock The Week and Have I got News For You star. However, I have to say after seeing him live I have been converted.

Hide AdEds unique brand of observational comedy underpinned by ‘nerdy’ connotations turns out to be my cup of tea.
Byrne, the self-confessed, wanna-be geek was thoroughly engaging throughout and came across as a hugely likable chap. He presents with a huge amount of energy and is very personable- unusual descriptions of a comedian, but true non the less.
I think this was proved by the fact that not on one single occasion was the man heckled during an hour of stand up.
Eds comedy based on his experiences and opinions had me chuckling continuously, however i never quite reached the level of teary eyes and gasping for breath. I did however leave with a satisfying ache in my side due to the shear amount of laughs and his show is well worth an evening out. Very entertaining and the hour or so Ed was on stage flew by.
For those of you that noticed the title of this article (an anagram)- this style of comedy should be right up your street!
