Thousands of stamps have been donated to the Advertiser’s charity appeal from Hillmorton residents.

Amerjit Singh who runs Hillmorton Post Office in the High Street put a box in his shop for customers to put used stamps in. So far he has contributed around 50,000 stamps for our appeal.

Mr Singh said: “It’s really good to be involved in a project like this and see so many people bring their stamps into the shop.”

So far the appeal has generated 300,000 stamps to help raise funds for Oxfam and Leukaemia Care. If any Rugby groups would like to help process the stamps, please call (01788) 539969.
