HENRY Hinde Infant School in Rugby has thanked its caretaker after 25 years of service.
Carol Brown started at Henry Hinde Infant School in December 1987.
She has been a devoted member of staff and nobody knows or cares about the school more. During her time she has worked for four Head teachers and has proved an invaluable support for them all.
Carol has seen many changes in education during her 25 years, not least the introduction of OFSTED in 1992, 15 Secretaries of State for Education and the school’s conversion to Academy status.
Previous employees and Carol’s family were invited to share a special assembly on Friday November 30, where she was presented with a number of gifts including a new pair of silver wellingtons.
Henry Hinde pupils said: “Our School wouldn’t be clean without her.”
