A council spokesman said: “Warwick District Council is not charging for the road closures. Organisers do however have to source their own barriers and signage, which may incur a cost.”

Many pubs and clubs in the area are also expected to put on events to celebrate.

In Stratford District Council area there are 13 parties notified so far, including Fisher Road and Ladbrooke Road in Bishops Itchington, and Gaydon Village Hall.

The wedding will be shown on a large screen in the Pump Room Gardens as part of Leamington Live. Got to www.royal-leamington-spa.co.uk
