A45 closed near Stretton after serious collision
The A45 westbound has been closed between Rugby and Stretton-on-Dunsmore following a collision earlier this morning (Wednesday).
The incident was reported shortly before 5.50am and occurred between the A4071 Straight Mile and Stretton Memorial Island.
A police spokesman confirmed they were currently in attendance at the scene, along with fire, ambulance crews and Highways England.
Motorists are being advised to find an alternative route until the road has re-opened.
