Accident on the Straight Mile near Rugby leaves casualty trapped

EMERGENCY services were called to help rescue a trapped person this morning (Monday) following an accident on the Straight Mile.

Fire service control received a call at 8.50am to an accident on the Straight Mile in Bourton on Dunsmore, near Rugby.

One vehicle was involved in the accident and one person was trapped inside.

Firefighters from Rugby attended the scene to rescue the trapped person.

The Straight Mile, both ways between A4071 and B4455, is currently closed.
