It has been a few months since the Horts personalised buses started circulating Rugby town and the surrounding villages – and they’re proving a success.
Six unique buses, displaying pictures of the individual property consultants at Horts, were commissioned in March 2013.
Five years ago, Horts Estate Agents took the bold step of changing the way they worked and decided to adopt the business model that is used throughout most of Europe, the US, Canada, Australia and South Africa. To celebrate how successful this change has been, the company commissioned six local Stagecoach buses. Each one has a Horts property consultant on the back off it proudly holding one of their ‘Sold’ boards.
“We offer a very personal service and this is reflected in our marketing with personalised boards and now the buses,” said property consultant Victoria Morris. “We very much believe in one-to-one relationships with our clients and when selling a property a vendor should have one point of contact. Committed sales people do not ‘clock on’ and ‘clock off’ to regimented working hours. All Horts property consultants freely give out their mobile numbers and direct email addresses because they want to hear from clients at all times.”
“The buses are fun because people now recognise us as individuals,” said Andrew Denny from Horts. “Being an estate agent in the community takes more than just words. Our property consultants enjoy taking part in, organising and sponsoring events and good causes within their chosen areas.”
